Authority details

This Committee agrees the internal and external audit arrangements for the Authority and keeps under review fire and rescue service performance.

The Committee is also responsible for agreeing the Authority’s Annual Statement of Accounts and the Annual Assurance Statement, a document designed to assure the public that the Authority properly manages its finances and responsibilities for the fire and rescue service.
