The Board was established by the Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue Authority (the Authority) with effect from 1 April 2015, in accordance with relevant legislation. The role of the Board is to assist the Authority, as Scheme Manager, in complying with the regulations and governance of Firefighters' Pensions Schemes.
